about EVAN DOBOS and the TORRINGTON, CONNECTICUT civic platform
How do you stimulate civic engagement in communities, and help citizens understand what's happening in their own backyard? Evan Dobos, founder of Civic Lift, worked with leaders from the Town of Torrington, Connecticut to create a platform that "crowd-sources" lifestyle events, assets, and resources to help citizens understand local information related to all the moving parts that make up their community.
In this interview Evan explains how he worked with the Town's Mayor, Economic Development leaders, and others to create the platform, discusses the software and community adoption campaign that supported this effort, and provides a roadmap for a leader or citizen who wants to implement this for their community.
